The Center for Student Involvement creates an environment in which all students and student organizations are encouraged and aided in the development of positive social, cultural, intellectual, recreational, and leadership programs and activities.
Housing services
Western Connecticut State University offers a variety of legally mandated accommodations to students with documented disabilities in order to achieve equal educational opportunity and full participation. Eligibility for these services is determined individually based on documented need. Any student with a documented disability is eligible to receive services from AAS.

Medical services
The mission of Health Services is to provide quality and preventive health care in a culturally diverse context. Health Services strives to promote health awareness for our students and academic community through educational programs, counseling, and promoting healthy behaviors that facilitate academic success.
Campus life
The Campus Center Information Center, located on the second floor, provides current information regarding the operations and services of the Campus Center. The Information Desk staff is also available to conduct tours of the facility and assist you in finding your meeting room. The Information Desk serves as the Box Office for the University.
Sports facilities
- Westside Campus
Completed in 1995, the 80,000-square-foot William O'Neill Athletic and Convocation Center acts as a multi-purpose athletic facility for the Westside campus and houses many of WestConn's athletic and recreational offices.
- The Westside Athletic Complex
The Westside Athletic Comples houses the Colonials' football, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse, and field hockey teams.
- Stephen Feldman Arena
The Stephen Feldman Arena, named after former Western Connecticut State University President, was dedicated at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in January of 1995.

I think this will not disappoint me
This is my first experience. I am very excited.
Amazing
I enjoyed the classes, even though it require significantly more effort than I had expected. The classroom was a very comfortable environment. I felt respected, and that I could be open about my thoughts with the people in class. Most of the people were really nice, and I enjoyed meeting them. They reciprocated the same respect and openness as I did, and I really appreciated that. I also found that many people in this class are really interesting and cool people. I am hoping that before summer term is over I have built a foundation of friendship with most all of them, and see that they are part of my circle of friends after I leave this class. As much as I liked this class, I felt some of the assignments were nice
