Regis College was founded in 1927 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston - A Catholic order that started a school within four days of arriving in Boston from France.

- Regis Community Health Services offers basic primary, episodic, and urgent confidential health care services to all Regis students, faculty, and staff.

Sports facilities
In 2009 Regis College underwent construction of its new athletic fields consisting of a turf field surface for field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. As well, an eight-lane track surface was constructed around the fields, along with six new tennis courts, and softball diamond with lights.

Studying at Gretsa University has been an enriching and transformative experience. What I liked most about Gretsa University was the accessibility of lecturers and the sense of community among students. However, I believe there�s still room for improvement in areas such as expanding digital learning resources and streamlining some administrative processes.
