What began in a single building in downtown Buffalo now consists of 37 buildings located on 72 acres in a residential neighborhood in North-Central Buffalo. We are a masters-level, comprehensive university offering undergraduate, graduate and professional programs that are distinguished.

Undergraduates choose from 147 majors, minors and special programs to create a path that is uniquely suited to their interests and career goals. Graduate students can select from 35 outstanding master’s and certificate programs, including an array of degrees offered fully online.

The Office of Research and Institutional Effectiveness is the primary resource at Canisius College for accurate, timely, and consistent data on the College and its constituents. We are responsible for providing College administrators with reports and analysis that can facilitate data-driven policy decisions.
