History
Dr. “Pat” Robertson had an inspired vision of establishing a graduate-level institution that would train capable men and women for the challenge of representing Christ in their professions. In 1977,his vision materialized - a 70-acre parcel of land in Virginia Beach was cleared,the foundation was poured for the university’s first building, and an institution was incorporated as “CBN University.”

Special Collections & Archives has been an integral part of the Regent Community and Regent University Library. It is the home for objects relevant to Regent’s history, culture, and academic scholarship. It continues to acquire, organize and preserve a treasure trove of unique primary research materials and rare and meaningful resources for scholars and researchers on campus and around the world.

Our students, faculty and staff are important to us. That is why we strive to make our facilities and courses as accessible as possible for those among us with disabilities. Campus life
Living on campus is a positive, safe and engaging experience at Regent. Students enjoy community-building activities with their hall mates, facilitated by Resident Assistants (RAs), participate in weekly Life Group meetings, and learn how to live as part of a greater community. Regent offers two housing options to fit your needs: Regent Commons and Regent Village.
Sports facilities
Whether you are a spectator or competitor in your sport of choice, Hampton Roads offers a wide variety of local and college sports, such as football, golf, racing, and hockey.
Student clubs
The Office of Student Activities & Leadership’s main goal and purpose is to create student enhancement and campus engagement, whether you are an on-campus, online or commuter student.We do this through programs, over 65+ student organizations, leadership opportunities, and experiences that allow Regent students to apply what they learn in the classroom. Getting involved is a great way for students to meet new people, enhance their leadership skills, and be an active part of student life.

Practical Regent Film Training
Regent is a great University with excellent courses and caring professors. I appreciate the level of support and guidance that my professors offered. The film program was excellent and offered a lot of practical experiences.
Excellence in Academic work.
Regent University is a very nice institution with dedicated lecturers who seeks to it that students are being thought and well equipped in terms of academics. I had a very harmonious relationship with my lecturers and students as well. I participated in every student activities that was held on and off campus. There was a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning. The lecturers made sure that whatever that was being taught bear fruits. In fact, I would say Regent University is on of the best institutions in Ghana.
Repository of Knowledge and Experience
My time at GIFT University was highly rewarding. The Clinical Psychology program offered a comprehensive curriculum and exceptional faculty support. The university provided valuable practical experience through three clinical internships, including placements at a rehabilitation center and with children with special needs. Additionally, the university's strong focus on community engagement allowed me to work with the Red Crescent Pakistan. The campus facilities and emphasis on research further enriched my learning experience. Overall, university provided a solid foundation for my career in clinical psychology.
