History

From the very start, back in 1874, Andrews University has placed serious scholarship, quality research and a strong focus on practical Christianity first on the list of things we think are important about attendance at a Christian university. We started out small. Mr. Goodloe Bell, a teacher, started a tiny school with only 12 students in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Education

At Andrews University we believe in giving choices. We offer nearly 100 academic programs that prepare you to become a World Changer.

Research

Andrews University faculty, staff, and students are involved in a variety of research projects to the extent that U.S. News has ranked Andrews University as being an "overperforming" school. This means that we are doing much more than our reputation indicates. This is particularly true in the area of research, where peers do not realize just how much research and creative scholarship is going on here at Andrews.

Jennifer's Review on Achievers University

Achievers University is a private university that is steadily growing. When I gained admission, the school was still relatively small, and I was part of the first set of students in the Biomedical Engineering programme. As a new programme, there were some courses that ought to have been included earlier, and these were properly reviewed and added before my final year. This showed the universitys commitment to improving academic structure and delivering quality education. The management genuinely wants the best for its students and is open to growth and development. When I returned after my National Youth Service to collect my certificate, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of growth achieved within just one year. There were new buildings, improved infrastructure, and a better learning environment than what I left. In terms of teaching, the university performs well. The lecturers are knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated to their work. Overall, Achievers University is a school with strong potential, steady development, and a clear commitment to student success.
