While initially a "center" under then-Texas A&I University, this was the start of a legacy of higher education for South Texas. The AV Media department preserves computer labs throughout the campus. The labs have the software required to facilitate the needs of both students and professors. These labs are located in Cowart Hall, Lamar Bruni Vergara Building, Pellegrino Hall, Killam Library, and Student Center.

The RLC is comprised of 4 residence halls that are designed to help you transition to the college environment. The RLC's focus is on small groups in an effort to help students make the campus connections that lead to success! All RLC residents have a meal plan, a resident assistant (RA) peer mentor assigned to a specific area, public and private study areas, a large well-equipped computer lab, 4 community kitchens and an inviting laundry facility.

I am studying Analysis and Systems Development (ADS) and I really like the flexibility of the distance learning model. It allows me to study at my own pace. The online platform is intuitive and easy to use. I recommend it for anyone who needs to balance studies with work or other activities.
I study through distance learning, and I often encounter some difficulties; the system seems outdated, Some guidelines are not very clear, and tuition fees get more expensive each semester.They don't help the student find employment in the field.
It's a university that exclusively offers online courses, however, it doesn't provide much support for this. Students are somewhat lost regarding the platform and teaching methods. Furthermore, the material for each class is just a written PDF.
