Louisiana State University in Shreveport

The Louisiana State University System is a multi-campus, multipurpose system of higher education, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, encompassing all Louisiana, and exerting a major influence on the economic, social, and cultural life of its citizens.

From its humble beginnings in 1967, LSUS has become a pivotal force in the upcoming and thriving Shreveport-Bossier area. LSUS is recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools as a Title V Institution. With its stellar faculty and devoted staff, LSUS' Mission is to educate and promote critical thinking for its well-rounded students.

LSUS has more than 20 undergraduate degree programs, a dozen master's degree programs (including the new online MBA), and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership Studies. The student-teacher ratio is one of the lowest in the state, lending to individualized instruction and personalized learning.

The Institute for Nonprofit Administration and Research was established in 2001 to conduct research and disseminate knowledge about nonprofit organizations and social research.  We reach this goal by offering nonprofit education programs, professional development seminars, and quality research and statistical analysis to clients.
