History
York St John is the oldest higher education institution in York and has been at the forefront of Teaching and Education for over 175 years.
Research
- Study of Satire - Research unit to historicise, problematise, theorise, teach and perform satire and satirical material.
- Physical activity and cardiovascular health - Research group to examine how physical activity can promote and maintain cardiovascular health.
- Motivation, performance and wellbeing - Research group to explore the influence of perfectionism in sport, dance and exercise.
- Futures and Foresight - Research group to explore how anticipation of the future impacts decision making processes.

Library services
Library & Learning Services provides students, staff and external visitors with a range of library and print services on our York and London Campuses.
ICT services
The IT facilities are provided for use in furtherance of the mission of York St John University, for example to support a course of study, research or in connection with your employment by the institution.
Medical services
York St John has a health centre on campus which is part of York Medical Group. Doctors' surgeries are held regularly and a practice nurse holds a daily clinic on a range of services.

Our magnificent campus is located in the centre of the historic City of York. Our eleven-acre site on Lord Mayor’s Walk is in a stunning setting facing the world-famous York Minster across the city walls.
