Nazareth University’s academic strengths cross an unusually broad spectrum of 60 majors, including education, health and human services, management, the fine arts, music, theater, math and science, foreign languages, and the liberal arts.
At the request of Bishop Hickey of Rochester, five Sisters of St. Joseph — with newly-minted Ph.D.’s that included graduate study at Oxford University and the Sorbonne — founded Nazareth University in 1924. Committed to academic excellence, these pioneering women inspired the first class of 25 young women to stretch to their potential.

Good fit for mature online learners
Good School with inclusivity and diversity. The staff is nice and educated in their subject manner. They are a Christian based school so they are big on values and ethics. It could be pretty lonely taking online classes however they try to keep everyone connected. The workload for post graduate classes are heavy but to be expected. OVERALL its a good school for more mature students with a plethora of options in majors.
