Established in 1889 by the Order of Saint Benedict of Florida, the university seeks balanced growth in mind, body and spirit for all members of our community. Saint Leo has grown from a peaceful campus in the rolling hills of Central Florida to an institution of international consequence—ranked one of the best regional universities in the South by U.S. News & World Report.

Saint Leo offers over 50 undergraduate degrees, programs and endorsements as well as master's, doctoral and certificate programs in the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business, and College of Education & Social Services.

Student services
The Multicultural and International Services Office (MISO) is dedicated to helping international students throughout your entire time at Saint Leo. We start with pre-arrival advising, and continue to offer guidance on everything from academic support and immigration to American slang and holiday customs.
A primary role of the Multicultural and International Services Office (MISO) is to serve as an intermediary between international students and the U.S. government.

Library services
University Campus students: the library building is open for extended hours during the academic year, along with all of our online resources and services.
Online students: you have access to many of the same resources as our Center students. We are always here to help you; whether you are on campus or around the world.
ICT services
There are two computer classrooms and one computer lab in the Daniel A. Cannon Memorial Library. Full Internet access and all necessary software for classes is available.
Campus life
Less than an hour from the vibrancy of downtown Tampa, our peaceful campus is surrounded by rolling green hills, dazzling orange groves, and clear-water lakes. All residence halls provide free Wi-Fi, laundry, cable, and a fridge, or full kitchen, in each room.
Sports facilities
There has never been a better time to be a Lion. Saint Leo Athletics is now a Top Five program in all of NCAA Division II. Our athletes compete in the Sunshine State Conference, which is known as the "Conference of National Champions."

- The LEAD Scholars program provides leadership development and reflection activities for students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership potential and who are passionate about intentional leadership development during their time at Saint Leo University.
- Parent and Family Programs strives to create a positive relationship with parents and families as we educate, engage, and guide both families and students through Saint Leo University.

The lecturers
I highly recommend it because it a business university and it has help alot of people to start up their own business. And moreover it is flexible. The lecturers are professional and they are well trained.
Recommendable University
Walter Sisulu University represents a very respectable and legendary Walter Sisulu who used to fight during the Apartheid times hence that is why I would highly recommend it, and the way that the lectures teach is very simple and understandable for their students.
My university offers good learning
I love that we had a flexible schedule and students get to focus on other things besides school work at all time. The professors elaborate and expand our knowledge by encouraging our research and presentation skills. I disliked that fact that the class gets populated and the noise can be too much
