Research

The libraries of St. Louis University constitute an extraordinary resource for Aquinas Institute students.  Pius XII Memorial Library houses a four-story theology wing, a wide range of theological journals, and electronic database resources as well as books that can be checked out for a semester.  New students usually receive an orientation to Pius Library and are introduced to SLU’s theological librarian. The SLU Law Library and Medical Library are also available for specialized research.

Career

With the diverse needs of the world, more career avenues are opening in ministry. At Aquinas Institute, we are dedicated to providing our students with the most complete education possible to serve in lay ministry or the priesthood. We help our graduates find positions in education, pastoral care, parish ministry, campus ministry and leadership roles in Church and community.

Student services

Aquinas Institute acts in partnership with Saint Louis University to provide our students with several services in areas such as disability support, counseling, job application skills and writing skills. These services are provided through the SLU Student Success Center

Housing services

The Office of Campus Ministry at Fontbonne University serves the spiritual needs of the entire campus community, giving special attention to the student body. We approach ministry through our catholic lens and honor the Catholic heritage and traditions on which the institution was established. Fontbonne is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, a religious order of women dedicated to serving the dear Neighbor without distinction. We are a program marked by both/ands.

Library services

The library at Aquinas Institute of Theology is a spacious, quiet, welcoming area with comfortable seating, study carrels, two computers for student use, as well as a printer and copier.  Faculty members often place specialized materials on reserve for students in their classes. These materials, like the reference books, do not circulate so that they are available for all students.
