History

Cairn University enjoys a heritage that spans over one hundred years.  Founded in 1913, it is the result of the merger of two separate institutions which formed Philadelphia Bible Institute in 1951, a school which offered only three-year diplomas and focused primarily on the training of lay people.

With over 95% of students employed 1 year after graduation (year after year!), Cairn University produces students who are uniquely qualified to fill professional and ministry positions in the United States and around the world.
  • Our virtual Career Center is the hub for job resources and listings. For individual consultation, current students may schedule a meeting with their advisor. Advisors will assist with career coaching, grad school prep, resume and cover letter writing, interview practice, internship and job searching, and networking.

Student services

The Student Government Association at Cairn University exists to represent Cairn University students and their needs; charter and regulate student organizations and club; and develop and maintain student-oriented campus wide programming focused on community activism.

  • Providing opportunities to serve on institutional wide-committees made up of students, faculty, administrators, and staff members.
  • Developing and proposing student-based initiatives centered upon Cairn’s mission and educational goals.
  • Active and visible in sporting events, social activities intramurals, Homecoming, and other major events sponsored by the University.

Housing services

  • Manor Residence Halls - Living quarters are suite-style and include a shared bathroom.  Lounge areas have a refrigerator, microwave, TV, and laundry facilities.
  • Heritage Hall includes a large common room, multi-use conference room, game area, and student laundry facilities. A small number of rooms are suite-style with a shared bathroom and the remaining rooms are double occupancy rooms with private bathrooms.

Library services

  • The Masland Library at Cairn University is excited to begin rolling out new developments to its information systems. While some may read such news with indifference, this new technology offers promising opportunities to students in their research endeavors. 
  • Students are provided access to the online library catalog, course reserves and research databases at http://library.cairn.edu. 

ICT services

Technology Services provides support for student computing needs.  

  • On-campus wireless connectivity.
  • Issues related to University technology applications; Email, SelfService, eLearning, Internet, Library Resources and the University Website.
  • Diagnostics and recommendations for student-owned computers.

Medical services

  • The Cairn University Health Center provides primary health care by a registered nurse. All students receive on-campus health services at no cost, regardless of insurance coverage.
  • Additional health center programs include prevention-focused services and learning experiences that present practical health and nutrition related information.

Campus life

  • Manor Residence Halls house 200 students and are centrally located on campus, a short walk from the Mason Activity Center, classrooms, and administration buildings.   
  • Heritage Hall is located at the main entrance of the University. 
  • Cairn University is committed to the provision of a safe campus for all members of the educational community. The University has created a “Safe Campus Initiative” that unifies governing policies and creates a team of trained professionals. This initiative allows Cairn to orient new community members, train students and employees on preventive measures and provide methods of making reports when concerns exist.

The Cairn Fitness Center provides a variety of high quality strength and cardio equipment for the fitness, athletic training, and recreational use of the Cairn University community.

  • Cairn University is accredited by Middle States Commission on Higher Education
  • Cairn University has been approved by the state of Pennsylvania to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.

My university

Founded in 1432, the University of Caen Normandy (UNICAEN) is one of the 10 oldest in Europe. The University has more than 30,000 students spread across several campuses in the Caen area, as well as university sites throughout the region. These campuses are welcoming, with modern facilities available to students, enhancing the quality of student life and the success of their studies. MAIN FIELDS OF STUDY - Science, technology and health - Humanities and social sciences - Law, economics, management - Arts, literature, languages UNICAEN is part of a tradition of multidisciplinarity: the doctoral schools break down the boundaries of traditional fields of study to train students in innovative, contemporary research. I’m passionate about learning and searching for computer sciences i even have been working as a part time product manager and a consultant for many companies in middle east and usa

The managerial level in the university is too bad I couldn’t change my major attendance during corona were mandatory which is too bad
