History

Career

Career Services is designed to help students bridge the gap from being a student to a highly productive employee. It is our desire that as you embark on your journey to obtain knowledge in your desired field of study that, through our services, you will also gain valuable work experience.

Housing services

Here, students are part of a college residential environment with a neighborhood feel—without having to move off campus. All upperclassmen Apartment Life housing is available for students who have attended a university or college for at least two full semesters.

Library services

The mission of Vance Memorial Library at Dallas Baptist University is to provide faith-integrated, quality service and access to the information resources and services necessary to support the various colleges in the achievement of their educational goals. T

ICT services

Students who wish to use wireless internet may need to purchase hardware that will allow wireless connection. The wireless cards below are recommended for our campus. They can be found at most local or online computer stores (e.g. Fry's Electronics, Comp USA, Newegg.com). USB wireless devices are not suggested for desktop computers.

Medical services

The Health Services Clinic is located in the Colonial Village Apartments, #1108 in Hurley Hall, and is supervised by a registered nurse. Students, whether full-time or part-time, may come to the Health Services Clinic for acute nursing care.

Best university and best masters degree

It is a great university and the course is very much career oriented. The Professors and university are student friendly and are very helpful.

Good experience

It was a good experience. This course has changed my life in many way. I change my thinking toward things. Professors assist students very well. Overall, it provides good study environment with useful facilities.
