Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) is an evangelical theological seminary located in Dallas, Texas. It is known for popularizing the theological system known as Dispensationalism. 

About

History

DTS was founded as Evangelical Theological College in 1924 by Lewis Sperry Chafer, who taught the first class of 13 students, and William Henry Griffith Thomas, who was to have been the school's first theology professor but died before the first classes began.

DTS-DC students have full access to the Seminary’s library collections, including: Access to electronic resources and databases Borrowing privileges for hard-copy materials (generally scanned and emailed to you) Tech support Reference assistance Recommendations for theological libraries in the DC area, as well as reimbursement of fees paid to use approved libraries

Medical services

Health insurance is required for all Seminary students. DTS has chosen Academic HealthPlans to provide student insurance.
