History
In 1886, a group of visionary educators and business people saw a need for focused, career-based training in the southeastern United States. American National University was thus born, to fulfill the need for trained business, banking, accounting, administrative, and other professionals.
Education
Your education at American National University means more than simply earning a degree. Our master’s, bachelor’s, and associate’s degrees are designed to train you for your career.
As an ANU student you’ll receive:

ANU Career Services is ready to assist you with career planning, career preparation, and career connections. As a student or alumni, you also have 24/7 access to ANU CareerConnect, our career services portal that provides career-related tools and resources essential to career success.
Housing services
American National University does not provide on-campus housing for students and encourages international students to experience full-immersion into the American culture by learning how to live off-campus. Our international students often build close connections and friendships with each other and other American students during their time studying at ANU.

The ANU Library strives to provide accessible, relevant resources and services in support of the University’s mission, goals and objectives.
Accreditation
American National University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) and by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (see below for campus-by-campus accreditation listing). The university has maintained institutional accreditation for over 60 years, providing an assurance that our degrees meet tested standards of quality recognized by employers, government agencies, and other post-secondary institutions.

Education is more than life !💕
At first sight season it was really rough for me !!! But when l started asking people questions about difficulties l was facing in my courses. I then realized that you don't have to make yourself an island of a place rather ask questions to find you're way , so that what helped me in my freshman year honestly . I really learnt a lot from people and my environment as well . Thanks to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University igbriam Anambra State ,Nigeria for accepting me as one of their students because l learnt a lot for there and it helping me today as a person!
