History

In 1886, a group of visionary educators and business people saw a need for focused, career-based training in the southeastern United States. American National University was thus born, to fulfill the need for trained business, banking, accounting, administrative, and other professionals.

Good Academics but Career Support Needs Work.

The academic curriculum is strong, and the courses provide deep, valuable knowledge. However, I think the university could significantly improve its career counseling and internship placement services. Overall, it is a very solid educational experience

Educational journey at Masinde Muliro University.

My educational journey been generally positive and moderately challenging. The program provided a good balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application through lectures, laboratory sessions, assignments, and project work. Throughout the course, I gained a solid understanding of engineering principles, mathematics, and technical problem-solving skills. The learning experience was relatively smooth, although some units required extra effort due to their technical nature. Laboratory work and practical sessions helped reinforce classroom concepts and improved my ability to apply theory to real engineering situations. Group projects and presentations also contributed to the development of teamwork and communication skills. Industrial attachment offered valuable exposure to the professional engineering environment, allowing me to observe engineering practices and gain practical experience. The interaction with lecturers and fellow students further enhanced my academic growth and understanding of the field.
