Georgian’s on-campus residence provides:

Library services
The Library empowers students and faculty to learn for the future. We believe that the student is the centre of the Georgian learning community.
ICT services
The Information Technology department provides the following services:
- Equipment and expertise to make presentations sparkle
- - Audiovisual equipment including digital voice recorders, digital cameras and camcorders are available for your assignments
- - Laptops and multi-media projectors are available on loan for classroom presentations
- - Skilled friendly staff available to offer assistance
Medical services
The Sadlon Centre for Health, Wellness and Sciences at Georgian’s Barrie Campus hosts a number of health care clinics that are open to the public.
Campus life
Barrie Campus is known for its friendly residents and four-season lifestyle. With a gorgeous waterfront on Kempenfelt Bay, nearby trails and ski hills, several shopping malls, a vast assortment of restaurants and great nightlife, there is plenty to do when you’re not studying.

Georgian College was founded in 1967 during the inception of the College System of Ontario. Twelve of its co-op education programs have been accredited by the Canadian Association for Co-operative Education (CAFCE)

gonna miss it when i grad
I genuinely adore this university. While some programs have faced challenges, nearly all my professors have offered amazing support throughout my time here, and it�s only improved year after year. I�m reluctant to leave since I was just beginning to truly appreciate it, and I�m very fond of my professors. The facilities are impressive. Though it�s a smaller university, I believe that strengthens its sense of community among students.
Short course stay
The place is near my home, so I don�t need to travel much. It�s easy to get to the university, and they have sports during lunch breaks to help students relax, which most people like. The teachers are nice and supportive. My only issue is the classrooms feel small, like high school ones, and they could be bigger.
Interactive learning.
Choosing Georgian College was a fantastic decision. I value the adaptable degree program, which lets students explore diverse subjects in the first two years before focusing on a major. The college provides an extensive array of courses taught by knowledgeable and friendly faculty. Classes are interactive and thoughtfully organized. The campus seamlessly combines modern architecture, creating a stunning environment. Its prime location, close to the delightful shops of Barrie�s west end, is perfect. The global diversity of the student community has broadened my cultural perspectives and friendships. I wholeheartedly recommend studying here.
