Saint Francis University

The Saint Francis University educational experience leads you to “Reach Higher, Go Far.”  Building on that exhortation, the theme of my Pres. Inaugural year is “onwards toward the highest principles,” inspired by Pope Francis.  My prayer is that your experience at Saint Francis University will allow you to explore new ideas,  and, in the words of Pope Francis, “stake your lives on noble ideals.

Our university motto “become that someone” speaks to our Catholic-Franciscan mission to help students become compassionate, caring, successful professionals. The values of generosity, respect, discovery, and joy run deep in our culture and attract students with a desire to become that someone who makes a difference in the lives of others.

Success means discovering your talents and sharing them with others. Focused career preparation blended with a rich liberal arts tradition (where you explore many passions) can help you find your path.

The goal of the Office of Student Research is to foster the culture of student research at Saint Francis University at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Student research has become an important part of the academic experience in all four of the university's academic schools.  The office aims to celebrate research efforts on our campus.
