History

Soon after the organization of the Reformed Presbytery (now called the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America) in 1798 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, steps were taken to establish a theological seminary for the education of its students of theology.

Student services

A tremendous sense of community exists among students, faculty, and staff at the Seminary. Opportunities for formal and informal interaction abound, both inside and outside the classroom.

RPTS is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada.
