History

World Mission University was founded by Reverend Dong Sun Lim on his firm determination and belief that “The Global Village is My Ranch”. There was no place too far or remote to take the message of the gospel.

Education

World Mission University (WMU) is a Christ-centered institution dedicated to the preparation of men and women for ministry.  WMU acknowledges that all truth is of God and recognizes the supremacy of biblical truth. WMU strives for excellence in the service of Jesus Christ, under the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of God.

Housing services

The needs of students studying at WMU on an F-l visa are unique and require additional attention to meet their needs. WMU recognizes that these students need more help than local students in adjusting to life at WMU and United States.

WMU is authorized by the U.S. Government to issue the I-20 form for visas from foreign countries. Once the foreign applicant is accepted, WMU will send various documents including the I-20 form. Foreign students must enroll as full time students, which mean a graduate student must take 9 or more credits per semester and an undergraduate student must take at least 12 credits. Foreign students should direct their questions to the Director of International Students.

Accreditation

World Mission University is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation (COA).

A WHOLE NEW WORLD

Well coming to North Cyprus to study Software engineering was kind of surprise. The challenges ahead of me were much, planning the flight, settling in, the language barrier and so many more but if I could be honest about one thing it was I was itching to get a feel for the classes. The first two years were general courses with a little integrated courses, I was doing most of mathematics, Turkish history and introduction to engineering, the fun started at my third year, now we were really diving head first into u known waters .One thing I made sure was my learning never stopped in the classroom, I always took it outside, to forming groups and working on projects , to attending conferences trying to get a deeper inside scoop of what software and AI basically was all about, I struggled a bit , but it made the journey even more thrilling, and I finally got a bridge were I was amazed, combining my software skills with business can be a real game changer, no I’ve done some research on whether I’d be able to get a masters in business seeing my BSc was in software engineering , and I’ve seen it’s possible , this is what drives me , and also being a huge fitness enthusiast, my hunger is next to none!

The academic experience at caritas university .

When I decided to attend caritas University, I had high hopes for my academic experience. The school's reputation for rigorous academics and diverse course offerings drew me in, and I was eager to take advantage of the many opportunities available to me. But I had both positive and negative experiences .The professors were knowledgeable and engaging, the course materials were interesting, and the assignments were relevant to the material we were learning. As a result, this class was highlights of my academic career. One of the negative experiences I had in caritas was that the environment wasn’t conducive for learning and I had a very competitive class. “While I did had some negative experiences, I will still recommend caritas university to any students. The overall quality of academics and supportive professors will make it a great place to study.
