History
DeVry University dates back 85+ years – with a rich history rooted in innovation and driven by modern technology. In fact, our founder, Dr. Herman DeVry, was the inventor of the first portable motion picture projector. SGM: how to learn to love materials
The practical work is very instructive, the contact with teachers is easy and important.
Studying at Devry
I am a graduate student studying MBA Finance at Devry's New York campus. The study routine is quite flexible as Devry allows people to study and continue with their work. That is the very reason why most of my peers are working full time jobs. One only has to attend one class per week and is given one assignment. That is when one chooses only one subject for one session. A session lasts two months. There are no final exams. Instead, final project is submitted at the end of each course. The academic activities are organized in a way that a semester comprises of two sessions and each session has atleast one course. The only downside is that if a student chooses only one course per session, MBA Degree will require 3 years to complete. Devry also helps with internships and career search through its career services, though it doesn't offer any internships of its own. The best thing about Devry is its lenient fee structure that makes it affordable. Affordability is a major concern, especially for MBA program in New York. To sum it all up, if one wants to excel academically and works a full time job, Devry offers a good solution.
