Indiana Tech was founded as a small engineering college for men in 1930. It has transformed over the years into a comprehensive university with a wide range of academic programs for men and women of all ages.
Programs in business, engineering, arts and sciences, computer sciences, and criminal justice give students the freedom to explore their intellectual and personal passions.
Indiana Tech’s Career Center will equip you with a professional proficiency that will prepare you for active participation, career advancement, and leadership in the global 21st century society; and motivate you toward a life of significance and worth.
International Services encourages multiculturalism and diversity through programming for international and studying abroad students. Services include advising, counseling, and advocating for F visa holders on various topics, such as immigration, cross-cultural awareness, and personal matters.
International Services staff assists graduate and undergraduate students to take advantage of the opportunity to live and learn in a new country and culture with study abroad. This will then result in students raising their cultural awareness and becoming an involved global citizen of today’s international society. We promote the importance in achieving global competency throughout Indiana Tech and Fort Wayne communities.
McMillen Library is located on the east side of campus in the west wing of Snyder Academic Center. We are here to provide convenient access to those resources needed to support student learning, faculty instruction, and research.
IT Services provides the infrastructure, support, and tools for students, faculty, and staff to have the technology resources for an excellent academic experience. From classrooms to offices and from desktops to a data center, we provide expertise with full-time staff and student employees who are willing to assist with any technology issue encountered.
The health and wellness of our students – inside and outside of the classroom – is extremely important to Indiana Tech. That’s why our Wellness Clinic is equipped with a health clinic nurse practitioner and a qualified counseling professional to help our student body maintain optimum physical and emotional health. We strive to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices.
Club sports are fairly new at Indiana Tech as they enter their third year of the programs history.
Student organizations are one of the primary areas of connection and leadership development on campus. Through these organizations, students are able to connect with others who have similar interests. Joining an organization is an excellent way for new students to meet and get to know returning students, faculty, and staff. As members become more involved in their organizations, they will not only have the opportunity to grow into leadership positions but also begin meeting other organizational leaders across campus to find unique ways their organizations can help each other grow.
Indiana Tech is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
