My alma mater
Studying at the University of Costa Rica has been an enriching and transformative experience. The academic environment is rigorous and encourages critical thinking, with professors who are highly knowledgeable and passionate about their fields. The psychology program, in particular, offers a strong theoretical foundation combined with practical experiences, allowing students to engage in research, community projects, and hands-on training. One of the highlights has been the opportunity to work on research projects that address real societal issues, as well as the sense of community among students and faculty. The campus itself is vibrant and diverse, offering numerous extracurricular activities, cultural events, and spaces for personal and professional growth. While the administrative processes can sometimes be challenging, the overall experience has been incredibly valuable for both academic and personal development.
Honest Review
I am satisfied with the lectures I've gotten so far, The majority of the lecturers teaching styles are very easy to comprehend. On the other hand the University administrative staff lacks proper time management skills in responding to students queries, concerns and helping to set up payment plans. Overall I am still in the process of completing my degree and their issues I outlined now may change overtime.
High academic quality
In the Faculty of Psychology, I have observed that the instructors are highly qualified, and students can gain diverse professional perspectives on various topics related to psychology. The university promotes research and scientific practice. You can find many research groups and work together with peers and teachers.
