The GHU was founded in 2018 and is recognized as a private university with the awarding power of bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees in the fields of Business Administration, Finance, and Law by the Higher Education Licensing Board (HELB) of the Ministry of Education in Anguilla. All programs are offered online through the GHU Online Campus, the most modern platform available.

The GHU Online Campus is one of the most modern platforms available to students. Whether you are aiming to learn some new marketable skills or just want to explore a topic through one of our master courses, our online learning platform is a great solution for learning on your own schedule. You can complete courses quickly and save money choosing virtual classes over in-person ones. In fact, it has been shown that individuals learn 40% faster on digital platforms compared to in-person learning. Our online learning platform - the GHU Online Campus - provides courses designed to help you grow your skills in your personal and professional life as well as full bachelor, master, and doctoral PhD and DBA programs.
Sports facilities
Our programs are 100% online, but we do of course encourage our international students to practice sports and also stay social, get enough sleep, exercise, eat well, get organized, manage their time wisely, get help if they need it, as well as take regular breaks.
Student clubs
The GHU student council helps share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school principals. They often also help raise funds for schoolwide activities, including social events, community projects, helping people in need and school reform.
Accreditation
The BSc, MSc, MBA, DBA and PhD programs are accredited by the AAC – the local accreditation agency. Our programs are also accredited by the ACBSP in the USA and AQAS in Germany. The GHU is a Member of CIQG and is accredited as an associate member of INQAAHE. It is also very important to note that the GHU is listed in EQAR. The Global Humanistic University has been officially included in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 1001+ and has been ranked under the top 600+ in the category “Quality Education”.
