About

History

The Faculty of Medical Science was established in 2014, it is now home to over 4,000 undergraduate, postgraduate and research students from all over the world. Based on our riverside campus in Chelmsford and city centre location in Cambridge, we deliver innovative and clinically relevant teaching and research.

Education

We have exceptional facilities within the Faculty of Medical Science. Our courses are practical in nature and it is important to have facilities that allow students to get a simulated feel of the environment that they will be ultimately working in as professionals. We have invested in our facilities at both our Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses with skills rooms, operating theatres and mock wards. For our new science programmes we have developed a SuperLab complex, comprising of science labs, physiology lab and nano tech lab.

Our Postgraduate Medical Institute (PMI) is the spectacular hub for postgraduate clinical research and teaching. It’s fast becoming known internationally as a centre of excellence.
