History
The University of Washington Bothell campus was established by approval of the state legislature in 1989. With a founding faculty of just 12, the campus held its first classes in fall 1990 and graduated its first class of three students in 1991.
Education
We offer over 55 undergraduate and gradaute degree programs, in five schools.
Research
The Office of Institutional Research works with partners throughout the campus to support analysis, assessment, reporting, and planning that informs institutional decision-making.
The Office seeks to:
- Undertake original studies and analyses to meet anticipated planning and management needs
- Facilitate the distribution of pertinent, timely, and high-quality data to various academic and administrative offices at UW Bothell and to external agencies
- Collaborate with UW Bothell faculty and staff to create effective evaluation strategies, particularly in the areas of metrics, program evaluation, and survey research
- Support the development of institutional infrastructure grants

Housing services
Where a student lives is critical to the quality of the college experience. Library services
The Campus Library supports and enhances teaching, learning, and research at the University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College. As part of the University of Washington Libraries we acquire and manage material and virtual resources, and promote the creation and use of knowledge in an atmosphere where information and ideas are readily accessible and freely exchanged.

One of three campuses of the University of Washington, UW Bothell is especially well known for the emphasis it places on experiential learning, hands-on undergraduate research and community engagement.
