JUST was established in 1986 as an autonomous national institute of higher education with the main objective of producing outstanding professionals in specializations that match the needs of Jordan and the region.

I am delighted to welcome you to the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST); Deanship of Research. In the words of the late King Hussein, JUST is the jewel of the Jordanian universities. We are part of a vibrant community of researchers, student and industrial partners who are working to improve the livelihood, education, and industry in Jordan and the region through research, local community engagement, and international scientific associations.

Student services
- The Student Union is committed to supporting all students from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences which acts as an official representation and advocacy on campus. It represents the voice of the students’ body at the university.
- The student union aims at immersing the students in a wealth of cultural events and activities as well as quality support services including the social, sporting, recreational, cultural and academic interests.
- The student union is administered via a selected administrative body which consists of a group of members being elected by the students on a yearly basis.
Library services
JUST Library avails access to a tremendous collection of printed and electronic materials in all branches of knowledge. The strategic plan of JUST library includes the vision of becoming distinguished in terms of resources and services and of being the leading core source of cultural and scientific knowledge and thought at the national and regional levels.
Medical services
JUST Health Center was established since JUST university first opened its doors in 1986. It is located in a vital area opposite to Prince Al-Hasan Youth Sport City in Irbid. Transportation is convenient and parking lot is available.
The center provides low-cost primary health care services to the communities of JUST university, Yarmouk university, Al-Albayt university and others.Sports facilities
Olympic–sized swimming pools, with a length of 15–25 m, and a depth of 140 cm to 210 cm. The program is available for both males and females.

JUST was such a great university i studied at I had studied one year at Yarmouk university and to be fair JUST i way more better for many reasons Reason no.1 is the whole environment of the university is really comfortable for any student to study at Reason no.2 is the level of education is one of the best The professors you will be dealing with are really cooperative and helpful and they always got time for you and watch over for your problems and they do really care about your improvement Reason no.3 is the students that attend JUST they are the best apex of students and actually they are competitive You will always find something to push you forward in this university One bad thing is the scheduling of the tables for the subjects You'll find it sometimes difficult to make a table suitable for you lifestyle But it not that big deal
