History
The College was founded as ‘College of Computing Technology (CCT)’, a specialist college providing education and training programmes in Computing. However, as CCT has evolved and expanded to include its Faculty of Business, with Business programmes, the established branding of ‘CCT’ has been retained, with the new name incorporating where the College is based – Dublin, Ireland.
Education
Enquire now about the Human Capital Initiative (HCI) funded level 8 Postgraduate Higher Diploma Conversion Courses in Data Analytics for Business or AI Applications. Courses starting September 2021.

The Academic Research Collection (ARC) is an online repository which captures, showcases and preserves the scholarly output, achievements, events and historic milestones of CCT College Dublin.
Housing services
The College is delighted to help you source suitable accommodation in Dublin, during your studies at CCT. This service is utilised by Irish and international full time students at the College. We can provide home stay accommodation with an Irish family which suits your needs and special requests. Staying with a locally based host-family when you come to Dublin, can help smoothen the process of moving away from home, while gaining a deeper understanding of Dublin and Irish society and culture (particularly for international students). CCT can also source and assist in securing independent student accommodation around Dublin city. The College can also arrange accommodation in student dormitories.
Library services
The Hume Library at CCT is named for John Hume, the distinguished politician, peace campaigner and Nobel Laureate who was born in Derry, Northern Ireland. He topped a popular poll conducted by national broadcaster RTE in 2009 to nominate ‘Ireland’s Greatest’, all in recognition of his contribution to the Northern Irish Peace Process.
Accreditation
Through the QQI accredited programmes of CCT, the College has repeatedly secured approval for the delivery of programmes funded under the Springboard+ initiativeCCT College Dublin offers a number of professional programmes in IT, accredited by ISACA. ISACA engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems.In addition to the above accreditations, recognition and memberships, the College offers preparatory courses for industry accredited examinations of Microsoft, Cisco and CompTIA.
