At UCEM we are committed to supporting our students and alumni and our careers service is here to help you make the most of your degree. UCEM provides careers advice to its graduates for three years after graduation.
Student services

- Information, advice and guidance that will help you make informed decisions about your programme
- Confidential advice, with signposting to other support where appropriate
- Disability and specific learning difficulties support and advice service
- Careers information, advice and guidance, to help you progress and meet your career aspirations
- Financial information including advice on fees, payment options, student funding and registration

Library services
UCEM’s e-Library (accessed through the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is a comprehensive and valuable online resource, enabling students to access a wealth of subject-specific and credible information to support them throughout their studies.
UCEM works closely with the leading professional bodies in the Built Environment to ensure that our programmes provide the knowledge and understanding required to achieve chartered status. These include the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
