Housing services
UL’s eight student villages, offer your own private study bedroom equipped with a good size study desk and free access to high–speed internet via the UL wired network. All accommodation offers a private bedroom with shared living space and kitchen. Some of our apartment style residences offer en-suite. All villages are equipped with a full set of inventories. From pots, pans, pillows and duvets to a TV in the living room.
- UL has 3,000 spaces on campus and prices start at €5,500 (UG) and €7,500 (PG) for the academic year. Prices include utility bills and UL Sport membership. Our accommodation has 24-hour security and live in managers.
Library services
The Library at the University of Limerick supports the teaching, learning and research activities of the University by providing quality information resources, education, support and facilities to students, faculty, staff and researchers

Medical services
Our on-campus Student Health Centre seeks to provide services that target illnesses and problems that occur in the University Student population. We provide a range of services including primary care of acute and chronic illnesses, both physical and mental.

Campus life
University of Limerick welcomes students from over 100 countries each year and recognises the importance of achieving balance in both education and life. Sports facilities
The UL Sport Arena: This stand-alone facility is home to the National 50m swimming pool base for the high-performance swim unit, Multipurpose four court Sports Halls, 25M Diving Pool, the National Strength & Conditioning Centre, Fitness Studio, Indoor 225M 3-lane Jogging Track, 60M Sprint Track
The UL Sport Outdoor Facilities: We have multi-purpose fully floodlit all weather synthetic grass parks on both the north and south campus.
The UL Sport Boathouse: Another unique facility on campus. Located adjacent to the River Shannon it is home to Ireland’s only indoor powered rowing tank which will simulate various weather and water conditions whilst accommodating up to eight rowers at a time.
Student clubs
With over 80 clubs and more than 6,000 members, UL Wolves is a vibrant and dynamic community. Clubs and societies offer students the chance to have fun, make friends, connect with like-minded individuals, explore new activities, and try something completely different. What makes these groups truly special is that they are voluntary organizations, created by students for students. With a wide variety of clubs and societies to choose from, there’s something for everyone. They play a key role in the UL experience, giving students the opportunity to build a sense of community, discover new hobbies, learn new skills, and make unforgettable memories—all while maximizing their time at university.
