KNUTE was founded in 1946 as the Kyiv branch of the All-Union Correspondence Institute of Soviet Trade. According to the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of January 14, 1959 № 50 this branch became subordinated to the Kharkiv Institute of Soviet Trade, and later the same year – to the Donetsk Institute of Soviet Trade.
The University is a multidisciplinary institution of higher education that conducts innovative educational activities at various levels of higher education (including PhDs), conducts fundamental and/or applied researches, is a leading scientific and methodological center, has a developed infrastructure of educational, scientific, scientific and production units, promotes the dissemination of scientific knowledge and conducts cultural and educational activities.

Favorable social and living conditions have been created for students: 6 hostels, 6 cafeterias and 4 dining rooms, laundry and other household units.
The Library fund counts over 1,4 million printed sources from various branches of science. There are 6 reading-halls, 7 lending libraries, co-working KNUTE-HUB, multimedia library, foreign literature hall, cards and electronic catalogues hall, new literature hall, and such special sectors as methodological sector of KNUTE, thesis and thesis abstracts sector for library users.
Academic process is provided in 8 university buildings, which include 28 specialized laboratories, 52 computer labs, 125lecture halls and 2080 computers
Payment of medical assistance cost, including emergency, is carried out by foreigners or persons without citizenship in case of deficiency of insurance contracts and insurer, if a foreigner has a proper insurance contract. If necessary, the university helps to obtain medical insurance card for providing medical assistance.
Kyiv campus is a single complex that stands on the territory of 17 ha which includes 8 academic buildings, library, 6 dormitories, 2 canteens, 7 cafeterias, 2 concert-halls.
The university has a sports complex for the students, which includes a football field with artificial cover, basketball and volleyball playgrounds, table tennis, gyms etc. Students and the staff have the opportunity to relax at University recreation bases on the Black Sea coast.
Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of KNUTE is a scientific youth self-governing organization that promotes the development of science and the emergence of interest in scientific work in the youth environment of the University. The main purpose of the activity of the Scientific Society is the comprehensive promotion of scientific, inventive and other creative activities of students and young scientists.

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design is a university in Kyiv, Ukraine. During my studies, I gained skills in using web design applications. I had the opportunity to go on a Erasmus+ exchange program.
I am still continuing my education. But now I want to say that I like the teaching methods, we do not learn from old books, and we analyze the latest methods in advertising.
