History
Established in 2007 as a visionary initiative by Malaysia, Asia e University (AeU) is a pioneering collaborative multinational university established under the auspices of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD). The ACD, founded in 2002, brings together the governments of 35 Asian countries, united in their commitment to regional collaboration and development.
Education
Asia e University (AeU) currently offers a wide range of academic programmes, catering to diverse fields of study and professional development needs. The University provides students the opportunity to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees through a flexible and open distance learning mode.
Student services
Learner Service Centre (LSC) is a one stop centre providing services in several principal areas of academic services and other general services. Enquiries are dealt with face to face, e-mail and over the telephone.
Housing services
AeU provides accommodation for full-time international students seeking safe, convenient, and high quality housing in Subang Jaya. They are partnered with multiple student accommodation providers around Subang Jaya. Located just 2 km from campus, the units consist of three rooms that is equipped with basic furniture. Each room is furnished with a bed, a mattress, study desk, a chair, cupboard, fan and air-conditioner.
Library services
The Knowledge Centre offers a wide range of both traditional and electronic information resources. The well design and conducive “living library” ambience makes it an appealing place for learning and studying.
ICT services
- Free wireless internet access for laptops and smartphones are provided within the Library.
- Several numbers of computers have been equipped for users to access electronic information such as databases, CD ROMs, e-books and online journals, etc. Usage is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Medical services
All AeU’s international students will be provided with a health card manage by the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). With the health card provided, students may be able to obtain their medical treatment and assistance at the go to the selected clinics and hospital permitted by EMGS. You may enjoy the medical benefits by getting discounts on the medical fees.
Campus life
- Main Campus is located in the heart of Subang Jaya.
- Subang Jaya’s public transport system is strategically located within walking distance from the main campus. Easy access to shopping malls, commercial centres and residential areas and supported by feeder buses.
- This eight storey main campus building houses the classrooms, schools/faculty resource centre, offices, orientation hall, conference and video conferencing rooms, meeting rooms, small discussion rooms and other various facilities to enhance students’ experience.

Marvelous
My overall study experience was rewarding and transformative. It gave me both theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to my field. Although there were challenges such as limited resources and time constraints, the experience strengthened my ability to adapt, think critically, and work independently. Overall, it was a valuable journey that has prepared me for future academic and professional pursuits.
