History

Geneva was founded by the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA) in Northwood, Ohio in 1848. The college moved to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania in 1880.

Education

A Geneva education is rigorous, Christ-centered, and comprehensive. We integrate the truth of God’s word in the Holy Bible into all of our academic curriculum, which are designed to prepare students vocationally to think, write and communicate in today’s world.

Geneva’s 55-acre campus of classic architecture is situated in the city of Beaver Falls, perched on a hilltop with picturesque views of the Beaver River.

Library services

Geneva's McCartney Library, named in honor of evangelist Dr. Clarence Edward Macartney (sic), serves over 3,155 people each year with 167,206 volumes, 879 periodicals and 198,624 units of micro texts and instructional media.

Campus life

The Geneva College Pittsburgh Campus offers one-on-one mentoring from instructors who support and empower students to achieve success. The classroom cohort model provides face-to-face interaction with a diverse group of students pursuing similar goals, and an environment where previous experience is celebrated and shared.

Sports facilities

  • The Geneva College Golden Tornadoes are members of the Presidents’ Athletic Conference of the NCAA Division III.
  • Men's sports: football, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, indoor and outdoor track & field, cross country, soccer and volleyball.
