Halls is a great choice for university accommodation, especially if you’re moving away from home for the first time, or are new to Aberdeen. All our units are in great locations, within a short walk or quick bus trip to campus - and with easy access to everything else. Most importantly, our halls are full of people just like you, who might be anxious about moving away from home for the first time, and who are keen to make new friends and start to enjoy the full experience of university life.Located at the heart of the campus, you can’t miss the striking green glass Library tower. There are four floors of books and journals, computers and study space for you to make use of.
All workstations are linked together by a communications network that connects them to centrally delivered services and to the Internet via the JANET network. Centrally managed servers deliver file storage, print facilities, Internet access and email facilities to all users. To support teaching and research activities we also deliver several hundred software applications
Disability and Dyslexia Centre - We have many years’ experience of supporting students with dyslexia, sensory and mobility impairments, mental health difficulties, medical conditions, autism spectrum disorders and temporary impairments, such as broken limbs.
Treehouse Early Care Centre - a purpose built facility that provides high quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Robert Gordon University's 'Masterplan' is a £120 million campus development project at our Garthdee campus which provides all of our students and staff with state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities.
This includes a brand new library, and formal and informal learning and social spaces for students. The first phase was open for business in September 2013 giving the university and our local community some of the best facilities in the UK.
Robert Gordon University has invested over £11 million in a state-of-the-art sports facility, which sees a dramatic improvement in sporting infrastructure available for the region and also acts as a social hub for the Garthdee campus.

Absolutely lovely place, good quality, friendly and supportive lecturer, care about students. Staff are easy to contact and responses are reasonably quick. I also really liked the recorded tutorials.
The tutors are really friendly and approachable, they try to make everything as straightforward as they can. Easy to get in touch with and give good feedback on assignments that you can work on for the next time.
I would have liked to enjoy my time at uni more, but I found it harder than I expected to stay motivated. The structure of the course sometimes made it difficult to keep momentum and fully engage with the material. It has been a mixed experience overall.
