History
O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary and research oriented university founded in 2009. JGU was established as a philanthropic initiative of its Founding Chancellor, Mr. Naveen Jindal in memory of his father, Mr. O.P. Jindal. JGU maintains a 1:9 faculty-student ratio and appoints faculty members from India and different parts of the world.
Education
JGU’s twelve schools focus on Law, Business & Management, International Affairs, Public Policy, Liberal Arts & Humanities, Journalism, Art & Architecture, Banking & Finance, Environment & Sustainability, Psychology & Counselling, Languages & Literature and Public Health & Human Development. Over the last decade, JGU has grown into an institution that brings full-time faculty from 50 countries in the world, students from 70+ countries and has collaborated with over 430+ leading institutions in 75+ countries to bring international learning experiences to the Indian higher education system.

Housing services
The University Hall of Residence for students consists of several blocks of building designed by a French architect. There are corridors, open spaces and common rooms within each block of Jindal Global University Hostel. There are separate blocks for male and female students. The OP Jindal University hostel for students in these blocks follows international norms and the rooms are aesthetically furnished. Hygiene is an important consideration in these OP Jindal Global University hostels.
Library services
The Global Library of JGU is housed in a centrally located and beautifully designed building having approximately 25000 sqft space. Spacious reading halls, most modern IT infrastructure provide the right ambiance for reading and research in the Library.

The LMS was clean and easy
Everything I needed — lectures, quizzes, grades — was in one place. The lectures and tests were very convenient
Best faculty and amenities in India
Amazing faculty in all subjects especially law. More than 15 degree available to pursue here at Jindal and with one of the best amenities in any university in India. The best degree and the most reputable is Law.
Opportunities
Academically and socially it�s an amazing university which gives you a lot of options of learning in many ways . Apart from the curriculum which is great,It gives you a lot of opportunities to go abroad and expand your horizons. I went to the Oxford University and the UN offices in Hague, Netherlands through these opportunities. I only have 2 issues with the university so far is that they have vague and obnoxious rules inside the campus and there is bit of a drug problem inside the university.
