Bridging CS and Clinical AI Research
My research lies in applied AI in Healthcare. As a person with a computer science background, this PhD provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of machine learning and real-world clinical data. I have gained hands-on experience with complex physiological datasets, high-performance computing, and translational research in collaboration with leading clinical institutions. The interdisciplinary environment at Sheffield has broadened my perspective significantly and pushed me to develop both technical depth and clinical awarenesss.
Great for PhDs
Great University for PhD students. Really vibrant city and like-minded people. The staff are really supportive and encouraging for progression. The Psychology Building doesn't have very good facilities because we are in a temporary location. However, that has lasted the whole time I have been at the university (4 years) and isn't looking to change any time soon.
