History

The university developed a new campus to the southwest of Lincoln city centre on a site overlooking the scenic Brayford Pool. Queen Elizabeth II opened the university's main Lincoln campus, the first new city-centre campus built in the UK for several decades. Over £375 million has been invested, revitalising the area and attracting investment from the retail, leisure and property sectors.

Education

With a suite of degree programmes available for working professionals across several industry specialisms, we aim to provide a highly flexible approach to enable our distance learners to balance part-time degree-level study around work and family life.

Research

Through our research, we are striving to change society for the better. Collaborating across sectors and disciplines, and working with partners at regional, national, and international levels, our academics are leading groundbreaking studies that challenge convention and deliver real-world impact.

Student services

The team will be there to support you by email, telephone or Skype or other technologies by arrangement from the moment you start your application, throughout your degree right on through to graduation.

Library services

The University's Great Central Warehouse Library gives you access to more than 260,000 journals and 750,000 print and electronic books, as well as databases and specialist collections. The library is open seven days a week at key times during the academic year, so is available when you need it most.

Campus life

Set against the backdrop of a beautiful and historic city, the University of Lincoln sits at the heart of it all on the picturesque Brayford Pool waterfront, with almost everything you’ll need either on campus or just a short walk away.

We’ve invested around £400 million in our Brayford Pool Campus over the last two decades to create the best possible learning environment and a strong foundation to help you achieve your goals. No matter which course you choose, we aim to provide you with high-quality facilities and the latest equipment.
