History
In 2008, the "Gelisim Education Culture Health and Social Service Foundation," which initiated to establish a Vocational School named 'Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School,' started its educational life with the Vocational School it established on June 14, 2008, with the approval of the Ministry of National Education and the Council of Ministers.

Istanbul Gelisim University defines education and research as a primary cause. The purpose of the research is to produce value. Housing services
As Istanbul Gelisim University, we provide dormitories for our students that we have contracted with.
Enis Cebi Sah Male Dormitory and Yeni Nesil Sorority meet the accommodation needs of our students regarding dormitory facilities.
Library services
Istanbul Gelişim University Library was established in 2008 to support educational and scientific research activities and to meet all kinds of information and documents needs of students, academic and administrative personnel. The users can benefit from Library services as a member.

Sports facilities
Sports facilities located inside the Istanbul Gelisim University campus; it was established to reveal sports activities and IGU young people to evaluate the extracurricular time and sports skills. Basketball and volleyball courts, tennis courts, indoor gymnasium are open to our students, staff and also for the community free for use.
Student clubs
IGU has 20 research centers and 93 student clubs that allow students to engage in social, cultural, scientific and sports activities outside of the classroom. We will be happy to cooperate with you, our external stakeholders, within the rapidly growing and developing dynamic structure of our university.

solid overall experience and never give up
My overall experience was positive and rewarding. what i really liked was the supportive learning environment and the opportunity to develop both practical and theoretical skiils. overall i would summarise my study experience as valuable, motivating and worthwhile. it helped me grow academically and personally and develop their skills and knowledge
