OSTiM Technical University

History

OSTIM Technical University is a private university located in Ankara, Turkey, established in 2017 by the OSTİM Foundation.

Education

The university offers programs through its Faculties of Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences, and Architecture and Design, along with graduate institutes and a vocational school. With a practical and entrepreneurship-oriented education model, OSTIM Technical University collaborates closely with over 6,500 industrial companies in the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone. It provides students with hands-on training, modern labs, and internship opportunities. Programs are available in both English and Turkish, aiming to equip students with skills relevant to real-world business and technology needs.

Housing services

OSTİM Technical University is situated right next to the Ostim metro station. Along the metro line, there are numerous private dormitories, with travel times to the University not exceeding 15–20 minutes. Dormitory fees vary depending on the services provided and the number of occupants per room. To meet the accommodation needs of our students, the University has established partnerships with dormitories that serve both female and male students.

Library services

The OSTIM Technical University Library, with a total area of 956 m², is a modern academic library with three study rooms, a seating capacity of 210, and a shelving capacity of 25,000 books. Books are presented to users on open shelves. Books are arranged side by side on shelves according to the LC Classification System.

Medical services

Since its founding, our university has provided emergency and first aid healthcare services to our academic, administrative, and students.

Sports facilities

Our Sports Coordination Office organizes athletic courses, events, and fitness programs to revitalize campus life for our University students and staff, enhance their physical development, and foster healthy lifestyle habits. Our primary goal is to provide a healthy environment for sports activities outside of academic activities and to foster athletic skills. Our main campus features an astroturf pitch, volleyball court, tennis court, and a 175-square-meter indoor fitness center with fitness equipment, ready for use to further our goals, and we plan to expand our new facilities.

We aim to integrate environmental, social, and economic responsibilities, fostering awareness through education, projects, and collaborative opportunities that drive positive change.
