The University of Salford has a long history of connecting our students with industry. Our roots date back to the industrial revolution when we were initially established in 1896 as the Salford Royal Technical Institute. We’ve now been a leading university for 50 years, providing students with real-world experiences, preparing them for their career.
We form strong partnerships with businesses and organisations from all sectors, working hand-in-hand with them to develop courses that are up-to-date and relevant to today’s challenges. We offer courses in a wide range of disciplines including business management, law, science, engineering, built environment, computing, nursing, physiotherapy, media, the arts and more.
We offer a variety of courses to suit your individual needs, including traditional 3-year undergraduate degrees or four-years with year placement, one-year master’s degrees and some two-year master’s degrees with a placement.
Research at the University of Salford extends across schools, research centres and industry partners, in a truly unique way of collaborative learning.
