MIB Trieste School of Management was founded in 1988 as a non-profit Consortium, created through the collaboration between the University of Trieste, public institutions and leading companies. Since its origins, MIB has combined academic quality, corporate connection and a clear focus on post-graduate management education.

The School supports students in finding suitable accommodation in Trieste. The School provides guidance on different housing options, including student residences in the city, private apartments and rooms, depending on students’ needs, budget and length of stay.
A library is available to students as part of the learning facilities. It can be used as a quiet space for study, reading and consultation.
Full Wi-Fi coverage and digital learning infrastructure are available to support both classroom learning and e-learning. Facilities include e-learning platforms, video streaming systems, simultaneous translation equipment and access to the GARR fiber-optic network.
MIB Trieste School of Management is located in one main campus at Ferdinandeo Palace, one of Trieste’s historic buildings. Designed by Berlin architect Friedrich Hitzig and built in 1858 in honour of Emperor Ferdinand I of Habsburg, the Palace is surrounded by the greenery of the Farneto wood and close to the city centre.
The campus combines historic architecture with modern learning spaces, including classrooms, conference and multi-purpose halls, a library, study and meeting areas, common spaces, a coffee bar, a self-service restaurant and student support offices.
Trieste offers a safe, multicultural setting between Central Europe and the Mediterranean, with the sea, mountains and culture within easy reach.
For those who want to work out more than their brains, Ferdinandeo Palace is located next to Parco del Farneto, a green area ideal for exercising or going for a run before or after class.
Student life is built around a close and international community. Students can take part in networking events, guest talks, social activities and initiatives connected to the Alumni Association and the wider MIB community.
After graduation, they join an international Alumni network of more than 4,000 graduates from over 100 countries, with opportunities to stay involved through events, chapters, elective courses and give-back initiatives.
The School is accredited by AMBA – Association of MBAs, EFMD Programme Accreditation System and ASFOR – Associazione Italiana per la Formazione Manageriale.
These recognitions certify the quality of its management education, programme design, faculty, internationalisation, career development and employability. AMBA accreditation is achieved by only a small percentage of business schools worldwide.

Studying at MIB Trieste School of Management was a very enriching experience, especially because of its strong focus on multiculturalism and internationalization. The school creates an environment where students from different backgrounds can exchange experiences, perspectives, and professional knowledge in an international context. I was part of the Origini Program, which provided valuable insight into the Italian business environment and helped me better understand the organizational and entrepreneurial reality of Italian companies, particularly those located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. The program combined academic learning with practical experiences, allowing direct contact with local institutions and companies.
My experience at the university was extremely positive. The classes were well-structured and taught by highly qualified professors who were truly committed to student learning. Beyond the academic content, I especially appreciated the supportive and inspiring environment that made me feel encouraged throughout the entire journey. I would definitely recommend this university, as it not only provided me with excellent professional training but also an incredible life experience that I will always cherish.
