More than grateful

My experience in the Masters program in Luxury Management and Marketing at emlyon business school has been exceptional, both academically and personally. The program is not only academically rigorous and enriching, but also deeply practical and international in its approach. What I appreciated most was the truly global environment. I had the opportunity to build meaningful connections with classmates from all over the world, collaborate across cultures, and learn from diverse perspectives that greatly enriched my understanding of the luxury industry. The exposure to the heart of luxury in Paris was another major highlight. Through company visits to iconic houses such as Dior and inspiring guest lectures from leaders and professionals at Herms, LVMH, Richemont, and others, we gained invaluable real-world insights. Having direct conversations with industry employees and executives made the learning experience extremely concrete and relevant. The support from emlyon business school was excellent throughout the program. Faculty and staff were always approachable, engaged, and genuinely invested in students development and success. The program helped me grow in many ways, professionally, academically, and personally, and pushed me to refine my vision for my future career. As part of the 2025/2026 cohort, I am more than grateful to have been part of such a dynamic and inspiring community. Today, I am continuing this journey in New York at Parsons School of Design, followed by a semester at Curtin University in Perth, which further reflects the global strength of the program. Honestly, everything about this experience has been a highlight. Completing my Masters at emlyon has been one of the best experiences of my life so far, and I am deeply thankful for it.

MSc Luxury Management and Marketing

My experience in the program has been overall very positive and enriching, especially from an academic and personal growth perspective. The classes are engaging, and most of the coursework is project-based, which makes learning both practical and enjoyable. The first semester can be quite intense in terms of workload, but it also sets a strong foundation for the rest of the program. One of the most valuable aspects for me has been the international exposure. Studying in different cities and working with classmates from diverse cultural backgrounds has pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow significantly, both personally and professionally. This multicultural environment is truly one of the highlights of the program. That said, there are a few areas where I believe improvements could be made. Organization and communication could be more streamlined, as there are moments when things feel unclear or last-minute. Additionally, while it is communicated that students do not get to choose their second-semester location, I would emphasize this even more clearly to manage expectations. Even though I initially felt disappointed not getting my preferred city, I ended up at Politecnico in Milan and had a very positive experience there, with strong courses and a great learning environment. Another aspect that could be strengthened is career support. As an international student currently searching for internships, I feel that more personalized guidance and support from the careers team would be extremely beneficial. While there are resources available, the level of individual support is somewhat limited. Overall, despite a few organizational and career support challenges, I have truly enjoyed the program so far. The academic experience, international exposure, and collaborative projects make it a unique and rewarding journey.
