The University of Pannonia performs research and R&D activities and offers programs in the main areas of engineering, economics, information technology, humanities and agricultural sciences. Prestigious international projects provide researchers' and students' mobility, and also contribute to the quality of the programs in these areas. In all activities, including international projects, the university seriously takes into account sustainability.


Housing services

The modern building of “Hotel Magister” is situated near the University, in a calm greenbelt of Veszprém. The Upper Campus is right next to Hotel Magister, while the Main Campus can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Well-equipped apartments with twin room or 2 twin rooms with shower and kitchenette (containing microwave oven, refrigerator and sink) are available for the students and guests. There is a common-room with TV, a common kitchen and a laundry room on each floor. The installed washing machines can be used with a coin. There is a 24 hour reception service, furthermore a gym and a buffett in the lobby.

Library services

Our open, nationwide and regional scientific reference library is as old as the university. It has been operating since 1949. We have been welcoming our readers to a renovated and modern building since 2006.

Our basic task is to serve the literature demands of learning, teaching, researching at the university.

Sports facilities

For the university student’s free-time sport, college competitive sport and its constant development are top priorities. Unique among Hungarian colleges, the institution offers nearly 60 sport types to students. Most of them are free of charge or available at a reasonable price. They can use gyms, pools, tennis courts, athletic field, training, gymnastics and fencing rooms. They can even choose aikido, taek-won-do, floor ball, cycling or wall climbing. Beyond individual and team institutional competitions, the students take part in national and international contests. Several teams have reached excellent results in the Premier League and also at Olympic Games.
