FH OÖ Experience

One of the things that caught my interest in FH OÖ is that the programs are very application‑driven. Students do projects together with companies, there are internships, guest lectures by industry people. This means you often graduate not just with theory but with useful practical skills. The campus are well equipped with up‑to‑date labs, modern facilities, small class sizes, good support services. The learning environment is often praised. FH OÖ have many partner universities for semesters and internships abroad. Also, being research‑active, new findings are incorporated into teaching. The structure tends to be more fixed than in many traditional universities: expected durations, clearer path, fewer surprises. Compared to many places (especially outside Austria) the costs are reasonable.
