    Housing services

Politecnico di Torino and some operators of the local territory adopted agreements together in order to provide accommodation to Politecnico international students.

Following these agreements, for a limited period of time students who come from other countries can benefit from a priority booking of some accommodation managed by the single operators while the other students can access the accommodation freely and consult the offers published on the websites.

    Library services

There are two main libraries and many small libraries in the various departments.

Libraries have over 250.000 items in stock and subscribe over a thousand periodicals a year. Some books belong to old collections coming from the " Scuola di applicazione per gli ingegneri" and the " Museo Industriale", some other have been bought at the antiquarian markets.

    ICT services

We are a Computer Based University where new technologies are an integral part of learning and student services, in fact, multimedia tools like wifi, blogs and lessons in video-streaming have greatly changed the way of teaching, as well as student-teacher and student-student relations.

    Medical services

The immigration law requires you to take out a health insurance during your stay in Italy. You can take out a private insurance in your country or a private insurance through an Italian insurance company. Otherwise, upon the arrival, it is possible to subscribe to the Italian National Health Service.

    Campus life

The campus encompasses education and research aims and services for the local community, offering a multicultural learning environment for students that is closely linked to current corporate reality by working with companies on projects which give students the opportunity to gain work experience before graduating.

Campuses of the Politecnico di Torino draw inspiration from the structure of Anglo-Saxon ones, with multipurpose buildings for teaching, basis and applied research and services to the students in Turin, and a regional network of technological centers (Alessandria, Biella, Mondovì, Verrès), dedicated to research activities, technological transfer, specialist education and services to the region.

Associations are created to unite a group of people coming from the same country to share experiences, create connections and give support to both students already at the Politecnico and prospective students.

Furthermore, students in the association become ambassadors for their country’s culture and traditions and can help in spreading these values to reach all the Politecnico students.
