History
Kozminski University was founded in 1993. It is one of the oldest non-public higher education institutions in Poland. The undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students and the participants of postgraduate and MBA programs studying at KU make up a population of 9,000. The population of KU graduates is currently over 50,000.
Education
Learning at Kozminski is more than just lectures. We implement technological innovations supporting our teaching processes. By making use of solutions based on artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and gamification, we share knowledge combined with experience. The process of education and general development is supported by a possibility to take advantage of additional tools and licenses. For example, KU students have unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning platform offering 12,000 online courses in various areas of knowledge. Both students and graduates can use the “Financial Times” website as premium users.

Kozminski University is a higher education institution engaged in extensive scientific activities in many fields of social, economic, and legal sciences. Employees affiliated with KU are offered individual support and opportunities of comprehensive development of their scientific careers through being conferred subsequent degrees and participating in prestigious conferences and research projects.

A refundable deposit for your accommodation, usually in amount of 1 months’ rent, is required when signing the rent agreement.
Remember that in some cases utilities (gas, water, electricity) are paid separately from the rent. This will be stated in the rent contract. The utilities can amount to around 300-400 PLN per month.
Library services
The KU library offers an online catalogue access system. The library features a reading room as well as rooms for individual and team work, equipped with computers and offering access to the Internet.
The library collection comprises over 70,000 items. It also makes it possible to use electronic databases with access to a total of tens of thousands of books and magazines.
ICT services
There are 19 classrooms prepared for hybrid learning at our University. Among them are:
- Huawei Idealab classroom
This is a hybrid classroom equipped with an interactive whiteboard IdeaHub, which combines the advantages of a traditional whiteboard with an advanced video conferencing system.
- Logitech classroom
This is a hybrid room equipped with two LCD monitors.
Campus life
Kozminski University is located in Warsaw at Jagiellońska 57/59 in the Praga Północ district. You can reach the city centre from our university in about 15 minutes. Trams 20 and 18 and bus 509 (on request) stop right next to our premises. KU owns also the areas behind the university buildings, where you’ll find a sports field, resting areas, and a car park. Right next to the main building there is a Veturilo city bike station and a parcel machine.
Sports facilities
Our students have a multi-purpose sports hall for team sports, aerobics, and combat sports as well as a fully equipped, modern gym at their disposal. In this part of the building there are also changing rooms and showers rooms. Football and basketball can be played on the sports field out on the common behind the university.
KU has an e-sports section, which can practice in a specially designed and well-equipped gaming room. “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” players get together in the Lions for Gaming (L4Gaming) section, where they improve their skills.
Student clubs
Students of our University belong to and actively participate in the activities of scientific clubs and organizations, which are supervised by the scientific and didactic staff of the University. The purpose of the scientific clubs' activities is to enable students to deepen their knowledge according to their interests and to broaden their practical skills acquired during classes.
Kozminski University has been a holder of three prestigious accreditations – EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA – for many years.
KU has also been awarded numerous certificates by many international organizations, and is recognized by professional associations operating in the areas of management, HR, and CSR.
The fields of study offered at KU are regularly awarded by the Polish Accreditation Committee.
