Founded in 1914 in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, and famous for its forward-thinking approach, we have become a figurehead for vocational and academic teaching, innovation and employability.
Steeped in the history of ceramic manufacture and pioneering work in computing, we are committed to the culture and industry in Stoke-on-Trent, and beyond.
Digitally led and focused on graduate employability, we provide high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate education across a wide range of subject areas including computing, design, law, and business, engineering and healthcare.
What’s more, if our current portfolio isn’t already diverse enough, new and industry-relevant courses are being launched every year, such as our pioneering esports undergraduate course - the first of its kind in the UK, or our brand new range of pathway courses, where you have the choice to tailor your own degree while studying.
Graduate employability is at the forefront of our objectives. As a result, all courses provide the opportunity for relevant work-placement.
Academic staff are constantly contributing to world leading research too, and as a result we have broken into the top 1000 research institutions in the World University Rankings.
At Staffordshire University, we are committed to our student’s future. We offer all our students work placement opportunities, and focus our courses around practical skills, as well as academic knowledge.
