Orientation Day at KSU - The International Relations Office organizes Orientation Day every year to introduce new international students to Vilnius and to the Lithuanian university system. During the day, we offer a number of events and presentations covering various academic and social subjects.
Orientation Day takes place in the week before lectures start. During this time, incoming students are shown around the university by buddy students. It is an excellent opportunity to meet other students and to start adapting to everyday life in KSU.
We believe this initiative helps both local and international students to become culturally, academically and linguistically integrated with each other.

Good Academic Experience with Room for Improvement
I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Organizational and Innovation Management at Kazimieras Simonavi?ius University in Vilnius, and overall my experience has been positive so far.
The program offers a modern curriculum that focuses on innovation, management theories, and practical business applications. Some courses are particularly interesting and relevant, especially for students who want to build a career in business or pursue further academic research such as a PhD. The professors are generally knowledgeable and supportive, and they encourage discussions and critical thinking in class.
One of the good aspects of studying here is the international environment. As an international student, I found the university to be welcoming, and it provides a comfortable atmosphere for students from different backgrounds.
However, there are also some areas that could be improved. The job market in Lithuania can be challenging for international students, especially when it comes to part-time opportunities. Additionally, some administrative processes can be slow at times, and more career support services would be helpful for students.
Overall, I would recommend this university to students who are interested in studying management and innovation in a European setting. It is a good option for academic growth, but students should be prepared to be proactive when it comes to job searching and career development.

Journey at KSU
My overall study experience has been incredibly rewarding, both academically and personally. One of the aspects I truly loved was the diversity on campus. Studying alongside people from various cultural and professional backgrounds provided me with a broader perspective and enriched every classroom discussion. It felt inspiring to be part of such an inclusive and dynamic community where different voices and experiences were welcomed and respected.
Another highlight for me was the learning environment itself. The campus offers a perfect balance between a peaceful place to focus and an engaging space that encourages collaboration. I always felt motivated to study, thanks to the well-equipped facilities and supportive atmosphere.
I also appreciated how approachable and engaging the lecturers were. They encouraged open dialogue, valued student opinions, and consistently made the effort to connect with us beyond the lecture hall. Their willingness to provide feedback, answer questions, and guide us through challenges made a huge difference in how confident and supported I felt throughout my studies.
The weather was another unexpected but delightful bonus. The pleasant climate contributed to an overall positive mood on campus and made outdoor activities and studying in natural spaces far more enjoyable.
While my experience was overwhelmingly positive, one area that could be improved is the availability of more practical workshops or real-world project opportunities within certain programs. These could further enhance the connection between academic theory and industry expectations.
In summary, my study experience has been memorable and enriching. The diversity, welcoming environment, engaging teaching methods, and lovely weather combined to create a supportive space for both academic and personal growth. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a vibrant and inspiring place to study.
