Founded in the aftermath of World War II, Nyenrode Business University was created by the collective ambition of industry giants such as KLM, Akzo, Philips Electronics, Royal Dutch Shell, and Unilever, with the goal of shaping responsible leaders who can contribute to a sustainable future.
We offer intensive academic courses as well as short en longer-running programs in the fields of business, management, accountancy, controlling and fiscal law. These are also the fields we conduct academic research in.
The Nyenrode faculty focuses on research with real life impact and education which impacts our students. This is also reflected in Nyenrode’s purpose: ‘serving society by shaping responsible leaders’.

Career and Personal Development (CPD) is a department within Nyenrode serving all students and alumni. Our mission is to help students and alumni realize career objectives by laying down a solid foundation for their career management, personal branding skills, and by providing contact with the corporate world. The essence of the CPD experience at Nyenrode will help students and alumni discover who they are, what they are good at and what they want to achieve.
Hospitality and dedication are the core values of Nyenrode's Facility & Services department. We offer a wide range of services for our students, participants, visitors and staff, facilitating a stimulating environment for education and research.
For the Amsterdam location, you can stay at student accommodations called OurDomain, a new housing complex only 15 minutes by subway from the Amsterdam city center. The modern self-contained apartments are designed for bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students. OurDomain is situated next to a train and metro station, which offers frequent and direct transport links to Amsterdam Central Station, Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, and Utrecht.
For the Breukelen location, you’ll stay in one of the five buildings on campus. The room types vary, such as studios, furnished rooms, and unfurnished rooms with and without kitchens. To ensure you feel at home on campus, we offer a number of facilities to make sure you can live, work, and relax in comfort. Among the facilities at our campus, you’ll find a living room, a student restaurant (Mensa), cubicles for project and group work, a laundromat, an outdoor kitchen for barbecues, and various sports accommodations.
Nyenrode has two tennis courts, a rugby and soccer pitch, a sports hall and fitness facilities (accessible with your student card), as well as scenic hiking and jogging tracks through the estate's woodlands. You can join any number of free activities on offer, such as the fitness bootcamp or spinning and boxing classes.

I had a great experience during my time at this university. The professors were knowledgeable and supportive, always encouraging students to think critically and explore new ideas. The campus offered a vibrant and inclusive environment, with plenty of opportunities for academic and personal growth. I also appreciated the diversity of courses and the focus on practical learning, which prepared me well for my career.
Everything i was hoping for. I learn a lot and start my life. Lot os areas to choose from, and excellent support for all the students. A lot of programs to study abroad to know outher cultures and travel
