History
Since its founding in 1932, the University has transformed from a school of accounting and secretarial science into an institution offering over 200 programs, from certificates to doctoral level degrees including business, education, liberal arts, social sciences and STEM.

Career
At SNHU, we put our mission to work — and it makes for much more than your typical 9 to 5. In fact, it’s one of many reasons we’ve been voted one of The Chronicle of Higher Education’s Best Colleges to Work For every year since its inception.

Housing services
Housing is available on campus for ESL, undergraduate, and graduate students with the exception of married students or students with children. On campus housing is limited, so make your reservation early. More information can be found on the Campus Housing page. You have the ability to choose from traditional residence halls (furnished shared rooms typically in suites with a shared common lounge and bathroom), apartments (furnished single rooms with a shared kitchen, living, and bath space), and townhouses (furnished single rooms similar to apartments but with slightly more space). Learn more about options in each category by clicking on the link provided.
