Transferring here was a great decision

I think college education is migrating and becoming anew, in that it used to be a means of finalizing one's youth and going straight into the "real world" as I heard a lot growing up from my parents. But, with the advancement in technology and now more than ever with AI and the uncertainty of economics, jobs, and what both of those will look like moving forward, I believe that the fundamentals have changed for this reason and now being able to work full time and completing your work while still learning all of the same information that you would in person is probably going to become more of a norm moving forward. When a friend of mine told me about SNHU, I almost did not believe what was possible, because while I was attending UMN (University of Minnesota Twin-Cities), it would have been impossible to work as much as I do now and supporting my independence with living alone and affording my hobbies like rock climbing, reading, and biking. I have met many a people and professors from all over the United States throughout my year and a half at SNHU, and with a few that really have encouraged me and helped me find my passion, I find it inspiring that I get to live in an age where I have the privilege to navigate this newer wordly phenomenon of receiving higher education online at my own pace. Another example of why it was amazing is I worked full time for the USFS in the BWCA (Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area) while still being able to dedicate my free time to academics in my off time. It was an incredibly busy few months, going from 8 days on with no service and grueling heat and bugs to doing a couple of week's of work in 6 days (my off time), I found myself pushed to a new capacity and found it invigorating to navigate overcoming such a chaotic and busy schedule. I think overall I would easily recommend SNHU or other adjacent online programs for individuals who are like me, busy bees with a strong passion and direction for where they want to be in life, and dedicated to doing the work to get there.

Amazing Online Platform!

I am a current online student at SNHU studying for my bachelors degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Cybersecurity. I am in my first year and I absolutely love the online platform this school has to offer. Brightspace is the name of the software and it is so easy to navigate. I love that I have the flexibility to work on my own time to meet deadlines. With no boring professor-led discussions and not having to sit through long boring classes, I have been absolutely thriving with a 4.0. GPA. If youre like me, who didnt do well in high-school due to too much going on and not enough teacher to student ratio, this is the university for you! You have the option to reach out to your instructors through your personal school email. The first class you take is a whole 8 week course that teaches you the best skills for online schooling. They basically set you up for your success! They take pride in their students and even offer a whole online library! Tuition is very inexpensive, as a stay at home mom I am able to receive student loans that completely cover my tuition and then some. We have weekly discussions to keep us engaged with our peers in the same course. There are so many other resources offered to us too like 24/7 support for any of your school needs. Our advisors check in with us all the time to answer any questions we could have or to remind us of anything important. Many emails are sent to us too to make sure we dont miss any deadlines. I absolutely love the online aspect of this university and I cannot wait to continue my education more!

Faculty with a strong practical component.

CESPU is an institution that has been growing significantly and improving its organization over time. There is a noticeable and constant investment in infrastructure and the quality of education. A good example of this is the new veterinary hospital, which has been a differentiating factor for the Veterinary Medicine course, allowing students to combine theoretical classes with practical experience on-site. Although there are still aspects to be improved, especially in terms of management and internal communication, the college demonstrates a commitment to evolving and offering an increasingly comprehensive education. Overall, I consider CESPU a good choice, especially for those who value education with a strong practical component and direct contact with professional reality.
