History
The current Complutense University of Madrid was founded by Cardinal Cisneros as a result of the “Inter cetera” Papal Bull granted by Pope Alexander VI on 13 April 1499.
Housing services
The Halls of Residence provide residence for students and promote cultural and scientific training and the practice of sports for those who live there. The Halls of Residence plan their activities to serve the University community.
Campus life
The Complutense University has two campuses in Madrid: Moncloa and Somosaguas. Some other university premises are also located in the centre of Madrid.There are easy connections to UCM from Madrid Barajas Airport and you will find that Madrid's extensive public transport system is convenient and easy to use.
